Hi everyone.
For my first post here I thought I would start with my last completed models. The Volvo 240T from Beemax or should I say 3 Volvo 240Ts. I figured that I would only ever build 3 of these things in my life so I may as well do all 3 at once.
The first one finished was the 1986 Australian Touring Car Champion driven by New Zealander Robbie Francevic. I swapped the kit wheels for BBS items from Scale Production, used decals from SK decals and converted it to RHD with my own dash.
The second one finished was Robbie Francevic's early 1985 version. This car won the Tasmanian round of the championship. Scale Production wheels and my own decals plus a new fuel tank and relocated rear air jacks.
The third and final version is Robbie Francevics early 1986 version This car also won the Tasmanian round of the championship. Scale Production wheels and my own decals.
Quite a nice easy to build kit but mine had some issues with dodgy chrome but Molotow came to the rescue.

Outstanding! The roll cage on the model in the 1st set of pictures looks terrific.

Outstanding! The roll cage on the model in the 1st set of pictures looks terrific. Tamiya TS-83 metallic silver is the hero there, it does the job as an easy to use semi-polished aluminium. It's my go-to for alum rollcages and some other parts.
Thanks every one for the warm welcome. I'm working on a couple of more Group A weapons and have many more from the past that I can post in the future.

All three Volvo's are truly impressive. Each one has a perfect paint scheme, and your homemade decals look like they were indeed painted on.
