The project I am working on has 2 stencils for the tire markings. I used to use the OLD model railroad Floquil just the right amount of overspray, and more importantly it DRIED on vinyl tires. This brings me to the tires in this kit I'm presently toiling with are rubber soooooo what is best for this application if you don't mind my asking? There are no decals included which I found strange with all the newer style markings (been a LONG time since I have messed with tires) and this kit in particular.
Thanks wbrown

I (brush)paint my tires with Vallejo acrylics and flat coat them with Vallejo Polyurethane Matt Varnish. The Vallejo paints don't leave brush marks and I have never had a problem with them drying on vinyl or rubber tires.

Thanks Rob I appreciate that tip. Now lining the stencils up with the sidewalls.....somewhat narrow on these new fangled racing cars. 😉
