I plan to start the Alfa Romeo 179 soon should i use bright red (TS49) or fluorescent red (TS36) ?

Benz, I think the ts36 over a darker base color would get you close. Looked at a few different pic’s and it’s not as bright as the McLaren red. Just have to spray out a few test panel ‘s. Look forward to what you chose.

I plan to start the Alfa Romeo 179 soon should i use bright red (TS49) or fluorescent red (TS36) ? Have you looked at the Tamiya color "Italian Red"? Here's what I do.... buy a box of plastic spoons. Wash them as you would any model. Then spray with primer and the base coat, then the different colors of red! Now you can choose! I have also used a sheet of styrene stock to do the same. Hope this helps!
