I just recieved this kit yesterday and started doing my inspection process. Since I took some pictures, I thought I would share them with you. I've learned that with low production multi-media kits to inspect the contents immediately so if there are any problems, they can be corrected. MFH produced 4 versions of this kit and I choose Version A, which is the 1965 Le Mans winning car driven by Masten Gregory and Jochen Rindt. It represents Chassis# 5893 which was sold to the North American Racing Team (NART) run by Ferrari's representative in New York Luigi Chinetti. Outlasting the quicker Ferrari and Ford prototypes, the NART 250 LM won the race, scoring what would turn out to be the last outright victory for Ferrari at Le Mans. So on to the un-boxing....... After clearing off the resin parts, the metal parts are in the bottom of the box. They will be inventoried tomorrow. I spread the resin parts out and checked them out to make sure they were all there and undamaged. Then a little mock-up. I also inventoried all of the misc parts. Lately MFH has been providing parts layouts so that identifying the parts goes quicker. In their earlier kits, I would have to go through the instructions step by step to identify and inventory the parts. Just so you know, eventually this will turn into a WIP. But it's a little ways down the to-do pile. Once again, I will gladly answer any questions you might have.

2wl, Looks like a great kit, and a real challenge. I'll be following along from start to finish for sure. One day I'll get that AAR Eagle and follow in your footsteps.

One of my favorite cars. Pedro Rodriguez won Mosport with the 250P version of it (spyder). And it's 1/12th scale, I'm very jealous. Love to see how this turns out!

I want to see the kit nose. Is it a Drogo nose?? Patrick Patrick, I'm not sure what the Drogo nose is, but the kit represents the 250LM that had a longer nose than the other versions.

I'd love to take that kit, cut the roof off it and make it a 250P, but at the price of it, its not happening!
Good luck
Paul
