Does anyone know of a web site that has good photos of the 67 Le Mans winner? I've Googled it and I find lots of photos of restored versions, but not many of the original. Thanks

Thanks guys! I've always felt the Le Mans winning Mark IV and Clark's 65 Indy winner were two of the most iconic cars in history.

John, you are not that far away. Go to the Henry Ford in Dearborn, they have both of those cars on display. You can take as many photos as you want.

Whoops!! Bernie, you have a photo of a color scheme I have never seen before.
On your page 27, you have a photo of a Mk IV labeled "0001zX". It looks like the Sebring configuration, with the later LeMans C flash on the side, and it looks like Ford France colors?
Does anybody know anything about this car?
Thanks, Rick

As I remember, two Fords MKIV were sent to Le Mans tests in April 1967,after the Sebring race. The first was the yellow car #1 drove in the tests by Bruce McLaren & Mark Donohue: This one was equiped with the GT40 JW mag wheels, and to the tests of the Hunaudiere long line, with any stabilizing fins added on the other end, without great results: The second car was sent to the press presentation & press test drivers,at the invitation of Ford France with their colour sheme. This design of lateral lines will be added on all MKIV at the race in June 1967.Many racers from Shelby racing drove this car with the reporters. Greetings.

Yes, indeed, that is the one. I don't recall ever seeing that one before. It seems that I should have seen it in Road and Track and Car & Driver magazines, during the pre-LeMans excitement. Thank you for that.
And you can just barely see that the white car has regular Mk IV wheels, and I had never noticed the JW wheels on the yellow car that tested with the fins.
Thanks!

Note that this car is the Ford GT 427 Mark 2 prototype as raced at Le Mans in 1965 by Bruce McLaren and Ken Miles. The wheels on the car were Halibrands, like the ones used on the other Shelby team Ford GTs in 1965.
