I've been looking for some relatively inexpensive 1/24 hardware for seat belts, because I'm lazy and don't want to spend the time making it from scratch. The cheapest I've found seems to run around $7/seat. Pro Tech ( LINK), sells a lot of 1/25 photo etched stuff for street cars, but they have a set for a 5-point racing harness for $3.75. I just received 5 packs of them, and they look great. They might be a little small in 1/25, but they look better than my plastic attempts. The only downside I see is the openings for the seat belts are too small to thread anything thicker than paper through them. I use painted medical tape, so I'll just stick it to the buckles and call it a day. I'll scan a set and post a pic as soon as I find some more time. Ben

I recommend these also. They are the only ones I've found that include the hardware for mounting the belys to the floor, bulkheads, roll cage, etc. Belt material is included also but I couldn't find any adhesive that would stick to them. ka-models.co.kr/?product=64-point-racing-seat-belt-set

I am believer in using what I sell, so I used the Pro Tech harnesses on my Lola Formula 5000 build. Here's a few shots of them. I like to use medical tale as well, but I think for this I used painted Tamiya tape. Also, just a side note- the reason I started selling Pro Tech was because I really liked their products, but ordering direct was a bit cumbersome. On my site, you can order with a credit card or PayPal and is shipped within a day or two. You can see all the pics here: public.fotki.com/alaski48/completed-builds/vpj-lola-t-332-f5000/

Hi Art,
Thanks for the info! I've bookmarked your site, and will order through you next time. It might be a while, because lately, I've been building at a pace that makes glaciers seem fast.
