Wow!! All those photos bring back a flood of great memories. For me the Group 44 pic of Tulius in the TR-7 with their iconic paint scheme is the most vivid of all. Boy did I love Group 44 back in the days when racing in the SCCA North East Region was their main objective.

My guess they we fighting frontend lift, trying to balance the car aerodynamically.

JC, I don't know about curing front end grip issues, but that's one sure way to kill your top end speed for sure.
