This is so interesting to me because I would never think to build a car like this - but having said that if I started one I would probably get right into it lol

Since I live near some guys that have raced these things for years, I can attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this, at least as far as what the drawings show. Hopefully, the kit will have all the details depicted. Been a long time since we've had a new short track model, and NEVER one this (apparently) accurate! On another forum it was mentioned that some dirt tires would be included in the kit, please be advised that this type of car just isn't capable of racing on a dirt track! Asphalt and dirt chassis technologies have specialized and diverged too much to be interchangeable anymore.

Now that's a kit I can get excited about. I'm not a follower of this particular corner of our sport, but if it's made to the level of detail I'm hoping will be the case, this is just the type of race car I enjoy working with, with plenty of structure and mechanical detail.

I like it! I'm not a big Nascar fan, but I watch these races whenever I can. The cars are just cool looking. I have their Monte Carlo to build Gurney's last ride, and it's looks like it's very nicely done. MJ

I like it. I'm planning on a dirt car sometime, that modified would go nicely with it.

Hadn't watched JC's video until today. Please be advised that the car in the video is NOT the same type of modified as the kit rendering represents. The one in the video is an IMCA-style car, using a GM Chevelle style frame and lower control arms, much more restricted. The one shown from Salvino's is an all-out NASCAR Tour Modified, fully fabricated frame and suspensions. Much faster!
