Replicas and Miniatures Co. of Maryland has (or had) a really nice set in resin. Contact Norm and see if he has any. I don't have his e-mail handy, sorry. Brian Thanks, Brian. I requested to join their Facebook page. Appreciate your help!

So the funnels needed a little bit of work to get them into place, they are metal and I had a choice to either modify the fuel injection or the funnel, I chose the latter. I used my dremel with a very small carbide bit to relieve some material to make it fit. Just look at the plastic chrome ones in the kit. I am very pleased with the results...but I have a little bit more to do 😁

Putting this together was a bit of a challenge. What you see is my second attempt. The 2 halves of the wing mount have terrible fitting issues, especially try to cram a oil cooler and battery in the same small place. At first I did as the instructions instructed. After painting the two halves and putting everything together there was a unsightly gap at the seams. So I took it a part and started all over by modifying the mounts for the oil cooler and bracket that the battery sits on. Glued the to halves together filled in the seams and sanded everything down, so I could repaint the white. I hope you like... I am getting close to getting the rear wing done. I am waiting for some detail parts I ordered to be delivered!! Thanks again for looking Chris

Sorry about the deletion of Chris's pics from early in the thread. I was making space in Imgur and didn't think about it. I will try to repost them.
