One of the coil springs became the victim of the vacuum monster. Or maybe I'll find it two years from now. So I took some mechanics wire and wrapped it around a drill bit. It looked like a coil spring, it just didn't look like the other one. So I made two, they more or less look the same I hope! A little bronze paint helped. So I got this far, I'm reasonably happy, and I realize I made a rather large mistake. Extra points for anyone who can tell us what's wrong with this picture?

This is the bike flipped upside down. Anyone who complains about hooking up the plumbing on a Ferrari 312T should try building this baby.
The cowling is held together very cleverly by magnets. Very powerful little buggers, you CA them to one part and CA a metal tab to the other. The little dot beside the toothpick is the magnet, there's another stuck to the knife blade. Try working with these guys, they're alive!!
Later guys.

Just taking a swing at it, is that the front tire in the back rim? I tried those magnets once but they were too powerful for what I tried. Those little buggers are strong!
Thanks, Ismael

It's done, for the moment. Definitely ordering the wheel upgrade kit, so some detail work will wait as I have to dismantle parts of the bike to swap them out. No big deal, it's mostly screwed together, and I have some metal transfers that go over the screws so, later. Maybe by then my hands will function better. And I'll fix the mistake once it's apart! So for the moment:
Later guys!

It looks great. I never get tired of seeing older classic motorcycles.

Nice looking classic. Six cylinders, barely any weight and drum brakes. That can escalate very quickly
