I am going to put in new LED shop lighting over my bench, but what colour temperature lighting to use ? 5000K seems to be most popular but there are 4000K as well. Plus is there a good brand for LED lighting ? I only ask because my cellar is like a black hole !

Put in as much light as you can. When that part goes flying you're going to wish you had more light. I even use a desk lamp that I can direct as needed.  Temperature only matters for taking pictures. Then you need to use a light that is daylight balanced. For my photo booth I use daylight bulbs in the spots and also in the fluorescent above.  |
