I have not used Gravity Paints yet. But they have many colors i could use like the neon yellow for the Volt sponser Mustang gt4. Is it worth it to pull the trigger ? Not many good reveiws about their customer service from another car model forum. any info would be very much appreciated.

There are 2 Gravity Colors. One from Spain and one from USA. They both claim they split because the other was not good enough. I have ordered from Gravity USA only once. Not the fastest but after a friendly call it was all good. The paint was good. I did not like the 2K clear but there was nothing wrong with it. I just did not like it. But that was about 2 years ago. Since then I've seen some negative comments. Gravity Spain seems to keep better reviews but I have never ordered from them. Have you checked Scalefinishes? If not listed he can probably mix it for you.
Thanks, Ismael

thanks for the reply Ismael, i was looking at Gravity Colors USA. Have not checked out scalefinishes. Gravity Colors has a great selection of colors and nothing seems to be out of stock. possibly the reason for long wait times, out of stock paint is listed as in stock.

I would stay away from Gravity Colors USA. Service is awful. I ordered from him twice and had to send reminder emails to get the shipment. Similar paints are available from Splash Paints (out of Portland) and Zero Paints. Zero is European, but can be ordered from HobbyWorld USA. You can order from Gravity in Spain, but realize that shipments from overseas are delayed by weeks right now. Even with the countries opening up, there are still limited flights. You definitely want to stay away from Gravity USA. Another option for Fluorescent Yellow is Mr Color C172. It's a lacquer that covers well over a white primer and sprays beautifully when thinned with Mr Leveling Thinner. I just ordered some from this guy on eBay for my Volt Mustang and it will be here tomorrow: LINKBen

The place I ordered my kit from was showing plenty in stock, but they cancelled my order and said they'd sold out. I found one from an eBay vendor and it will be here Saturday.

I've dealt with both with both Gravity USA/Matt, and he's the worst of the worst. You can wait years and never get your order. A true one man show that has no business being in business. There's several car sites with long threads about the horror of dealing with him. All I can say is thank Goodness for PayPal. On the other hand I've dealt with Gravity of Spain many times, and the service is the equal of their paints: Outstanding. the color selection is listed both by manufacture and color. So you can look up Porsche or all lets say whites. the paints are pre-thinned Lacquers and I've never had an issue. As for shipping, I've always gotten my orders within 3 business days; DHL. One modeler ordered from Australia and he also got his paints in 3 days. Time.
the key here is stay as far away from Gravity of USA as you possibly can.
