I'm looking forward to this Tamiya release. I know ESCI/Heller has already done a Porsche 934 in 1/24 but the Tamiya kit will be much more crisp. Hosted on Fotki

I'm curious to see if they do an all new tooling or if they base it off one of the 911 or 935 chassis. I'm hoping it is almost all new tooling as I have a couple of decal sets that for the Heller 934 that I'd rather put on something with a little more detail. Nic

My guess is it's based on the snap-loc 911.

Probably based on this kit. Anyone have the Martini decals for this scale?

This kit is finally out. There are kit reviews and assembly guides on the internet. It looks like it would be very easy to make many other Porsche 911 based racing kits from most of the parts due to the layout so maybe Tamiya is planning on redoing some 935's and maybe even doing the K3. That would be nice. Nic
