Small update on the 917. Started on the tub..it took a lot of dry fitting and checking 3-4 steps ahead to get where it’s at now. I still need to do upper control arm, build the shocks, radiator and plumbing not to mention brake reservoirs. Thanks for looking and your ongoing support! Chris

Chris, Just great progress and fantastic detail painting. Case in point is the fire extinguisher. It looks as real as you can get.

It’s a little update, but I’d do do some brake work

Chris, Honestly, the 1st two pictures look pretty darn real. I actually thought that they were reference pictures. Simply outstanding work.

I installed the radiator and didn’t use the supplied fittings and lines. I used some RB Motion fittings and Pro Tech braided lines, a lot more realistic. I did not paint the shocks... just look at them! The upper A frames to quite a bit of persuading but I got them in.
Hope you like Chris

Chris, Wow!!
You beat me to the punch with the comment on those shocks. I'm just blown away by them. Actually the whole front suspension is amazing. The duel brake master cylinders with those blue lines as well as the aluminum brake lines really looks fantastic. And the upgrades on the radiator fittings and braided lines really makes a huge difference.
Just another great update.

Been a while since I have gotten anything done on this. I know it’s only the brakes but, I did get something accomplished 😁
I will share a little personal note about myself. I have been fighting lymphoma for the last 6 months. I haven’t had that much energy to work on scale models, so when something gets done, it’s a major accomplishment for me.
I want to thank all of you for your kind words and great inspiration! Chris
