Here's an older build from 8 years or so ago. Bantam Blast engine and frame, Revell Double Dragster body, fully plumbed and wired, machined rims, many scratch-built items and lots of printing plate.

Fantastic car, exceptional detailing.
Great to see you here Brad!
I'm still using your front axle methods for steerable wheels, simply the beast way to go. There is no better method to make a correct axle.
Could you offer some insight for the making of the front coil overs? Excellent!

Thanks all for the comments. I really appreciate them.
Thanks Mike. Hope you're doing better. Your brother was in AZ? If there's anything I can do from here, just let me know.
These coil over were made from telescoping aluminum tubing and a center aluminum rod that was flattened on the ends and another piece that was wound around the center section. I added the rounded end to the ends of the tubing by putting them in my Dremel and sand the corners.

Thanks Brad, sounds similar to the method I use for clutch cans and the like.
The suspension parts look fantastic, I really like the look!
Hey, styrene will never look as good as real metal on our models. Alclad can look good, but real metal rules.
I'll be applying your method with the next Altered build.

Wow, has it really been 8 years? I remember when this one went together, and it's as impressive now as it was then.
