Evening Fellows, Just found out the AMT Howmet Can-Am Turbine car does NOT have the Corvette gearbox to make a McKee USRRC car. I bought the kit to use as base for Shelby King Cobra but there are major differences. I just built a pair of updated Colotti and BMC transaxles, that came out nice. The McKee transaxle should have been a cinch BUT the Howmet Turbine cars didn't need multiple gears, I didn't know that. So, consulting the 63 & 64 Sports Car Graphics I just received, I chopped an AMT 63 Sting Ray 327 engine for it's 4-speed Muncie and used the back plate off the Blower case which looks exactly like any two shaft transaxle rear end. Turned out well, use the McKee on King Cobra and Cooper Monaco's. Let me know how you like them. Photos will post soon.
