Road courses only? Why wouldn't Jimmie Johnson run on an oval, you'd think he knows how by now? But either way I'm glad to see it.

Heard the news and lessened to some commentary as well. Jimmy's deal is still bending as Ganassi doesn't have a signed sponsor for Jimmy as yet. The deal is for road and street courses for 2021 and maybe expand to the ovals for 2022 as well. From what I've heard is that Jimmy wants to solely concentrate on road and street courses and not spend the time needed to learn all in and outs of the ovals. The Indy 500 just might be the one race he runs if they need to sweeten the pot to sign a major sponsor.
I'm having a hard time trying to come to terms with Ganassi running 4 Indy Car teams. But then again what do I know. if Chip feels he can do it, then so be it.
