Nice Job , I re-read the build and it was nice to see the methods you use. I have "The Chopper" all metal cutter and it is an indispensable tool for scratchbuilding and replicating parts particularly in pairs or multiples. The Starion is something you dont see much and I like it! Chris

Thanks guys,
I'm glad you all liked it. I'm not sure what my next WIP will be but my attention now turns to 3 BMW 635s, 2 BMW M3s, 4 more Sierras and 6 Mini Coopers that are all painted and need final detailing and assembly so they will keep me busy for a few months.
Cheers ShawnS

Shawn, Can't wait to see which series you'll be building next.
Chris, I have the cheap-o Chopper 2 and it's basically junk for repeated precision cuts. Sorry that I wasted my money years ago on it.

I had been chasing after that book for years and bought the first one that I saw as I thought they were rare but after I bought my copy those books just kept popping up out of nowhere. Turns out I didn't really need it anyway as it didn't provide any new info or pics that I didn't have elsewhere. I got the original book (ATCC 25 years) for Xmas when I was young and still have it, the dust cover is a bit rough but the rest is still in good condition. It was the first book in my collection and I still refer to it when I need inspiration. The two books are almost identical except for the advertising and the extra years in the 30 years edition.

Looking at your shelves it appears you have built many of these cars. ATCC is much like the American Trans-Am series. Some of my favorite cars.

Thanks for putting this build on here, as I'm just starting to build this kit myself.

After reading this again, I've also modified the rear window unit to fit, thanks for that tip. Also with the NuNu BMW M3 race car I've just built, this also comes with decals for the surrounds of the windows, must be for people like me with shaky hands.
