Check this, I found it today!!!!

I was going through a big box of models that I hadn't look in for about 7 year when I moved and I found this Holy Grail !! A MPC #501 Ford J-Car with Clear Body in Mint condition...well kind of, most of the white parts were off the tree but safely bagged in 2 bags, All the Clear Body Parts were individually sealed in Clear Plastic! The Chrome tree had I half of the radiator off everything else is just like new, OK No Decals but the instructions were in excellent shape Have a Look , dont Drool and Enjoy how models should have been made ever since this one was in 1968 ! I would like to do a detail build like I did on the IMC Ford Gt-40 Yeah Something like this.... OK, now I'm jealous. I built that kit when I was maybe 14. I've never seen one since.

I built one about five years ago and sold the unbuilt one I had as it seemed to make sense not to build two of the same car. The MKIV kit can be modified for the Lemans entries and of course shares a lot in common with the Jcar kit. I built the Sebring #1 car about 30 years ago and every IMC and/or Testors MKI, II and IV kit made. I rarely see either the IMC or MPC kit actually built but I built them and like any IMC kit that is the less accurate version.
