Pascal, The before and after in the same picture for the rear suspension and drive shafts just shows the amount of detailing, replacements with scratch built parts that truly make a huge difference.

Good evening, Thank you Joel! Glad you like the rear end of the Lotus. Nice to work on a very different gear box than on most of the others with Hewland. Well, it's taking shape. Sorry for the photos, which I just took, in a lighting that could be improved, to say the least. I finished assembling the transmission, secured the engine to the hull, and attached the gearbox to the engine and tie rods. The box is detailed (but it's not finished), the clutch hydraulics connected as well as the starter. The oil fittings are being installed with the high pressure hoses ... The bodywork elements are positioned correctly with each other; tomorrow I take pictures of the beautiful undressed and maybe on her wheels. Pascal

Looking great Pascal. The H16 does have a rather odd clutch location compared to a normal car.

Pascal, Your BRM Lotus 43 is really coming together now. Shouldn't be much longer before she's crossed the finish line. So have you given any thought to your next build?

Hi,
Thanks a lot Mates! The next one should be blue... and older... really older!
I’m almost sure I will start a Bugatti Type 35, 1/20 full detail. ... even if the M19 early season is not far from the bench.

Good evening, So here it is naked and on its wheels and equipped with its exhausts. the brake lines are installed at the rear as well as at the front. The oil cooler is installed, complete with new fittings and braided hose. I will soon have to take care of fixing the 2 windshields, which have been laid blank for the moment. A serious cleaning step will be necessary beforehand, as will the installation of the yellow stripes and the "Team Lotus" decals. But it has never been so close to the end. More soon. Pascal

Bonsoir, Thank you very much for your comments Modeling Mates!! New thinner and softer springs built and installed Various shades sprayed on the exhaust tips, then pastels. I wanted to depict the « oil sprinkles/splash(?...)» so I let some China ink out for an hour, and sprayed at very low pressure. Yellow stripes and TEAM LOTUS installed Thin Alu covers to hide the upper wishbone screw heads. Vues d’ensemble: Voilà. Pascal

Pascal, I'm just totally speechless. I'd have a hard believing that your build isn't 1/12 scale as it's detailed to Alien levels for sure , but it's 1/20 scale no less. Like I said, I'm just plain speechless.

Paul, Actually, it would take center stage for sure. I've never seen such a detailed 1/20 scale F1 car before.
