Hello, I started this in 2015 but it was until 2021 it was finished. Modified Hot Wheels Salt Shaker. I originally cut open the engine covers but glued them back to speed up the project. Scratchbuilt canopy, rear wing with supports and parachute. Machined parachute tube. Paint is 1956 Chevrolet Nassau blue (one of the many colors with that name). Gotta have a Chevy connection somewhere * FINISHED!!! * My favorite pic and the spoiler picture . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Thanks, Ismael

I have been amazed at some of the Hot Wheels conversions I have seen at shows lately, a VW Drag Van won Best Paint and Best Drag car at the LA Roadster Show a few years back! Picked by real cars guys no less. Some of the Body mods, Outrageous Paint with Murals and graphics just confound me because of the size. I am working on a few Dinky and other Tow Trucks and Tankers that should look cool.. I thin your Jet LSR "Salt Shaker is way Cool, I like the way your re-worked it and painted it.. Great Job.. Chris

Thank you guys! Interestingly, it was also well received in the Hot Wheels official website and the photography forum.
Thanks, Ismael

A friend of mine of many year David Wise, former Member of Automotive Modelers of San Fernando Valley a club I started and initially had over 150 builders show up at the meeting from all over California and Arizona ( I ended the club after 25 years because I moved and couldnt run it, no one else wanted to). Has taken over as Mattel Hot Wheels director of Design and is pretty much doing all the new cars, that's why you see a lot of race type cars now. Great Guy Excellent model builder, and Good Friend.
