Hello, Since I've never claimed to be normal, here is this completion: So I need a support vehicle for my racing operations and car museum. Especially for communications and broadcasting. So I have a Chevy Van with a comm link, pintle hitch to haul car trailers and front pushbar for salt racers. Full details after the pictures This started out as a Hot Wheels generic van. While I used a recent release, this casting dates back to 1975! Another Larry Wood design, my favorite Hot Wheels designer. Work done on it: Disassembled and repainted Color:1971 Chevrolet Mediterranean blue Scratchbuilt items: Satellite dish with machined telescopic mast, cable and styrene base with bolts (styrene and wire) Rear ladder (made out of wire) Rear pintle style hitch (styrene and wire) Door mirrors (styrene) Front push bar (steel wire) Door handles (flatten solder) Front grille Chevy bowtie emblem (styrene) Other mods: Masked and painted panel lines for the doors, hood, etc. Black painted interior (except windshield) Painted the original wheels (gunmetal, silver, flat black and metallic black in the centers) Tires treated with dullcoat Painted marker, turn signal lights, fog lights etc. License plate says "Pratt & Miller Corvette Racing" This is actually an extra 1/24 chassis plate I printed for the Ron Fellows project. and the spoiler picture . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . What do you think? Thanks, Ismael

Ismael, Wow!! I can't believe you did all of that scratch building and detailing on a 1/64 scale Hot Wheels van. It looks absolutely fantastic.

Dude! Sorry for my absence around here these days. Work has got me really tore up right now and I've only made room for a couple of the forums that I've been on. Will be getting back in here pretty soon in full force. Beautiful work on that van Ismael.

That is really cool and in 1/64 scale, it's different from all the flashy racers, custom rods and muscle cars, I really likes! 👍
