I got the rear tanks completed.. It was a bit tricky getting them to line up and the tank lids have a small piece of PE that allows them to function. The straps are also PE, they are thicker than most that I have seen and it take a bit of bending to get them to conform. Hope you like

Being a scratch-basher that must interpret photographs of the real cars, I find your WIP much more clear showing the exact locations of all the parts. Thanks. I wish I had this WIP when I made my 246 (done in 2006) and 256 ( done in 2020) models in 1/24. -Patrick

Enough rivets on those two tanks? Great looking work as always! Can you answer a question for me please... what would be the best way to simulate the welds circled in yellow? Thanks in advance! I don’t know

Chris, Each update gets better and better. As Paul said, those tanks have a ton of rivets, and you're weathering just make them look so much better.

Chris, Thanks for asking as I'm feeling much better. It's been two weeks since I had two stents placed in my left Carotid artery, and honestly the post hospital stay seemed much worse as I couldn't use either hand/wrist much and more wires and tubes in me then I thought possible. Now I'm dealing with the last heart issues of what they call EP beats that shouldn't be there. Of course there's a sub specialization for that condition as well. New record for my daily pill count: 13 Finally started to do some work at the bench which really feels great. Just about ready for my 1st update.

It’s been a minute since my last update, I finally finished the side tanks. These were more trouble than they look. It wasn’t the Tanks themselves it was the PE straps. You have to form them to the contours of the tanks. I had to re paint one of them, which sucked but it’s done 😉😁
Hope you like

External straps on the fuel tanks... that's interesting... great work, Chris!

Just an amazing amount of detail every where, and your weathering really makes all of it just POP.
