Patrick, I don't follow MFH very much, but I didn't realize that they're also starting to go curbside with all 3 scales? Should help to hold down the prices, but as you said, it just takes away from the MFH build that you guys excel at. joel All the modern Ferraris are in curbside and that immediately loses appeal with me.

OK, Patrick, for your next MFH build............they just announced the Auto Union Type C, in 1/12th. Only 50 units are being made. I’m seeing 743 Euro for the kit. That’s about $760 USD. Probably all sold out in preorder!

Hey, Paul, do you by any chance have any leftover spokes and sleeves from your 156? I am going to count mine out tomorrow and make sure I am not light on the number. Just trying to be proactive...

I just can't believe that they're only going to produce 50 units. Makes no sense to me. Even 500 a number I've heard from time to time seems wrong as there are plenty of online & brick & mortar sites that sells MFH kits, and hardly see current kits marked as sold out.

Patrick, Just think about it. a company like MFH just kitting 50 kits would be a financial disaster. Even 500 kits is to small a run for them. I'm betting it's a huge typo.

Hello Patrick,
I don't have any experience with MFH kits. Never even seen one. From your comments, I take the top cowling is resin, correct? For the gap between the top cowling and the side pod, could it be the resin is too thick on the top cowling? Just a suggestion, maybe carefully sanding the inside of the top cowling where it touches may help get the gap closer. In other words, make the top match the side pod so you only work one of them.
Thanks, Ismael

I haven't built my wheels yet, so I don't have any leftovers. Sorry. Discovered there are plenty of excess of both. I sat down and counted out the necessary 72 per wheel for the other three and there seemed to be at least 10 extra for each... which is a good thing because those little sleeves can go flying!

So here is the car standing on the front two wheels and tires... I'll turn that tire 180 so the patch of missing tread is hidden. This is the place where the casting block is located. I guess it can't be helped... And the exhausts in place so that finishes the power plant. Slow going for right now but I did get 12 spokes on the of the rear wheels. That's 12 down and 132 spokes and sleeves to go! Then I can start worrying about the solution to the fit issue. Tatocorvette, it isn't a matter of the resin being too thick. If you place the resin cowl piece according to the tabs for location, they are just plane too short. I might have to make extensions from some sheet plastic and strip, then bondo the whole seam. That might extend the top of the cowl down enough to meet the side pods. But that will need some research (as I just thought of it!) Good times... As always your comments and criticisms are always welcome.

Patrick, I'd say that you're doing one heck of job on this build. If I didn't know that this was your 1st MFH kit, I'd swear that you've got quite a lot of experience building them.

Thanks, Joel. You always are the face of positive thoughts!
