Now I dont want to F&*&^@ this up. I am looking for ideas and tips from everyone to hopefully do perfect job.... Any Help is Greatly Appreciated.. Chris

I've been using Vallejo or Tamiya acrylic paint to do the black trim after I clear coat. I freehand it in the morning, before I've had my coffee, so my hand doesn't shake. That probably means I need to cut down on my coffee intake! I prefer the Vallejo paint because it brushes a lot better than Tamiya and it doesn't stick for sh*t. I'll go back with a toothpick and clean up any rough edges; the Vallejo paint comes right off. The Tamiya takes a little more work. It I really screw up, I'll use a Q-tip with some Windex to remove it and try again. I use Tamiya or Mr Color lacquer-based clear coats so the Windex doesn't harm the underlying paint. Since you probably don't have scribed frames on your homemade clear parts, you'll probably have to mask to get a good, straight line. You can still use the toothpick & Q-tip method to clean up the edges.
