Trying to test my skills on this one and see how detailed I can go. I've never done opening doors before so that will be an adventure. For now its alot of mocking up and adding to the rather large list of things to do...

Looking forward to your detailed build, as I've been eyeing this kit for what seems as ages.

I jumped into the deep end on this one and I'm just struggling to figure what all I need to do . Small update though, the rear hatch really doesnt fit that nice so I added some little pieces on the rear to keep it flush and added the body pins in the front like the real car and it fits almost perfect now. Next step is trying to hinge the doors which ive never done before...

Had this on and off for awhile but got back into it. Too much to list that I've done, just focusing on the monocoque and getting that all mocked up. This is gonna be displayed as disassembled however i have pinned all the bodywork to the main body to fit as flush as possible.
I would like to find some little machine screws to use for wheel hubs but dont know what size I should be looking for.

Looking good for sure. Are you planning on detailing the front end since it will be displayed with the cover off? Looks like you've made more progress on the door jams so that the doors open and close correctly. joel

I had to ditch hinging doors since i don't have enough room to fit a hinge, so im just going to put on some bent wires and have it statically propped open. I did have one hinge that worked but the door couldn't open far enough.

Check with Robert Bentley at RB Motion for a good size and style for the wheel hubs. Chris rbmotion.com

Front all mocked up and looking nice. Its oddly satisfying having to take the suspension apart and back together so many times since i made them all slide apart now. I could even do spring changes if i wanted to haha. Was able to sneak the front sway bar setup in with the cowl still fitting flush. But i think i captured everything in the front i wanted to. Onto wiring up the cockpit modules!
