I still can't decide on a racing subject, so I went with a quick & easy build. It's a nice curbside kit, with few parts, kind of like the old Monogram kits from the early '80s, but with better fit. I really hate dealing with red plastic. Primer and paint are from Splash Paints. I started with a black interior, but decided tan leather looked better with the green body. This is another car that I'd love to have in my garage. My dream project car is to get an MR2 and drop in a 300 hp Toyota V6 out of RAV-4 or Camry. There are several companies that make kits, so it's completely plug-n-play. That way you have a reliable, torquey, high-revving V6 instead of a high-strung, peaky turbo four. Ben

Lovely. I too hate red plastic. Just built the Revell Jaguar E type, which they inexplicably molded in red. Terrible. Those early MR2s were a nice looking car.

Finished! I didn’t quite get the front ride height as low as I would’ve liked. I should’ve taken another 1 mm off the tops of the front coilovers. It was a fun, relatively easy model. Ben
