70 Boss 302 Folmer T/A Mustang

I finally finished this one after putting it aside several time over the decades.  I did the body and painted it in the 90’s but was stymied as to how to replicate the race interior.  This began as the Monogram Boss 429 kit long before the Boss 302 kits were available.  Fast forward ten years ago and thanks to a diecast of a 69 Boss 302 I was able to rob the interior and engine block.  In order to finally get this one out in the display cabinet I did not try to replicate the floating rear and I missed a few parts of the roll cage and the hood does not sit down all the way I’m glad to just call it done and move on to another project.  The air cleaners is partially scratch built as is the front spoiler.  I cannot remember all the decal sources but the gumballs are Fred Cady.

Nice! It captures the classic look of the era. I like the mini-lite wheels as well.
Last century, I started what was supposed to be my first Ford: A Boss 429. Still in a box somewhere.
