Nice fun projects. The '68 has the right look with those rear tires. The Toyota: I think it is 16 valves, not 20. The coupe version of that car was the most popular car here in its day. Even my grandpa at age 75 got one in '84. It was even referred to as "the belly button of cars" as everyone had one. Thanks, Ismael

The AE86 would normally come with 16 valves but in the lore of the show it is replaced with a 20 valve TRD Silvertop. I always liked those little rear wheel drive Toyota hatchbacks.

Interesting. Never seen a 20 valve version. Just google it and it was a rare version of the 4A-GE which I know as the famous Twin Cam 16V.

Definitely not something you’d actually put into your Trueno hatchback. I believe I read that the author of the series based this modification off one of Japan’s many famous drift masters who had something similar in his real Trueno.

Nice builds. I have heard that Chevelle is a beauty to build. Thank you Sam. The Chevelle really is an excellent example of modern tooling. Revell did a nice job. I believe it also comes in 1969 form as well. So if you want to build a 68 or 69 Chevelle then this is the kit you want.

I still do have quite a bit of fun doing quick builds like this of random subjects. The Toyota actually has some photo etch but it’s only badges and then the radiator and fan that I didn’t even take a picture of. All of these were very nice kits.
