i AM INTO A COUPLE OF OTHER HOBBIES, LIKE HO SLOT cARS since the mid-60's I have professionally raced, built and created many HO Slot Cars over 200 complete with parts for many more. I traveled the West Coast for my Job and bought out several Hobby shop's stock in the mid 80's when they all just wanted to just get rid of HO Aurora Parts and Track Cheap, I have many dealer Parts drawer, displays about 100 Lexan bodies and many AJ's. Parma and other racing and performance parts.. Next up is My X-Mod Mini R/C cars , I just found out a Hobby shop opened here and they have a Mini Z Track (indoors) and plan on doing some Saturday afternoon racing for stimulus. HOw About YOU ? what other Hobbies Do You Participate in semi-regular?? Chris

For the last several years it's been mostly ultrasounds, x-rays, having various bodily orifices probed and let's not leave out the ever popular trips to the dentist. It's a very enlightening hobby but it can prove to be rather expensive.

As you can guess from my screen name, I'm into two-wheels. Both bicycles and motorcycles. I have 7 bicycles I rotate through and try to get at least 60 miles in each week.

Well my other hobby is Model Railroading. I've been mostly an arm chair Model Railroader for close to 35 years. No time, no real space, and not nearly enough funds. I've had virtual railroads but it's really not the same thing. Finally last year, all the stars aligned, and I got the rights to the main basement room as these days it's just the way from the steps to the laundry and storage room. Over the last 10 months I've built the benchwork for a 2 ft wide 24 ft L shaped industrial switching layout. worked out the track plan, bought and laid the track, purchased a few engines, and 36 cars, all Atlas Master class, and now I'm doing the scenery a little at a time. the layout was designed for operations as that's what I like about it the most. What I least like about it is that it's one very, very expensive hobby.

Real racing is my other hobby. I help out with a local sprint car team in the area. We run dirt and pavement both. In a typical season we may race 7-10 times as we all work full time jobs. I've also helped out other friends with race cars, all open wheel stuff. Silver Crown, midgets. but 90% of what I do is sprint cars.
