About 1990 I started this project, a MPC 1/20 Corvette, it was one of my first scratch bashing attempts, using the Body and a few parts, a MPC McLarem M8d 8 Liter engine, Tamiya 1/20 F-1 Tires and wheels. I used plastic and a bit of filler to make huge Wheel Flares, and started on the Chassis using the basic frame rails from the kit. I painted the body this really slick fade Blue to Red using Rattle Cans, YUP Testors or Pactra Enamel!! I was experimenting with Rattle cans and how to get control while painting..I think I got it down pat!!! Sometime I think I will re-do the chassis and engine and scratchbuild it a little better as I am pretty sure my skills have improved a little in 20 something years!! Rear wheels are Red and front are Blue.. Enjoy!! Chris

An attempt at a street legal race car.. I had built a couple of 1 to 1 street cars around that time and wanted to see what a Vette would look like.. Chris
