This started as an Eidai kit and boy was it weak! I chose to use my glue bomb IMC Lola T70 chassis for a basis to build around. So...that necessitated about 1/18 added to the body... No big thing, but the engine was another matter... yes, a spring loaded motor! LOL! This thing is primitive! So, the engine cover was cut up for the cam covers of the V12 and it fit nicely on a 1/24 Mercedes V8 engine... the rear deck fit fine... and next will be some front end work... Rossa156

Nice progress Patrick. I'll have to haul out my Otaki kit and build along.

This is really cool. Theres been an amazing number of unique kits like this come and sadly go over the years.

I once had one of Eidai's early Toyota group 7 cars...sadly I haven't seen one since. More on the Nissan soon.

Well, for a piece of doo it did come out ok... It still needs some decals, mirrors and a wheel vent screen (it fell out as I was working on it and that #@&%^++ carpet ate it, yes, I don't have any more either-ain't it the way?)... Patrick PS: the front body isn't glued on yet.

I almost have my LSR project gathered to proceed on it. Oh, I added the mirrors today, too. No need for pix as I bet you can visualize it!

Another great modeling, and the choice of IMC Lola is very good!... But what is the yellow paint use you?Camel yellow from Tamiya or other? Many great thanks to assemble these rare model kits.
Best greetings.

Yes, Bernard, the Tamiya camel yellow. I saw the real car so I know it was a bit more pale than Camel yellow. Duh! I didn't pay attention until I was already into it.
