Started working on the American Racing Miniatures kit of Frank Lockharts 1928 Stutz Blackhawk. Fitting the parts reveled the belly pan is a bit short and will not fit properly: No big deal though, I cut the belly pan just forward of the hump. I figured this would be the easiest place to sand the filler without losing detail. The result: The sparse, but accurately detailed, cockpit:

The owners, Tom and Ed, are in Indy this week for the 500 and will have their kits at the Memorabilia Show at the Speedway.
