Built from the AMT kit with the 289 from Revell's '66 Shelby Mustang squeezed in. The engine is built to represent a Ford 260. The wheels/tires and windscreen are available from Historic Racing Miniatures. The Spaulding Flamethrower magneto, headers and dump pipes are scratch built. Decals are Fred Cady.

Looks great! Wasn't that one of the earlier recicualting-ball steering cars? Dave McDonald drove the car, but Phil Remington deserves as much credit for the rebuild and inprovments that made the car a winner! Long live the memory of both... --Frank

I agree without Phil Remington, Shelby may not be the legend that he became.
