My wife Yolanda thought mechanics roller boxes would look better than cabinets, holds parts, spray paint and projects.. second shelf is resin kits big cabinets hold old kits and sorted, labeled parts for easy access.. 2 Surround sound systems, inc a Yamaha Natural Sound system with a 10 channel mixing board, a Linear Hitachi turntable, a Pioneer Digital dual cassette player a total of 12 speakers play back the 5 channel stereo, also the DVD and TV..Closet at end is floor to ceiling Tamiya, Fujimi, etc many rare kits, pics to come.. the entrance from the hall , behind the door is a closet floor to ceiling big scale kits, more pics of those to come. Door in center leads outside to the carport.. cabinet on the right has Many Detail sets, Parts and Transkits all labeled and ready to go. glass and aluminum desk, small format HP 1 terra byte PC , bottled paints and tools.. The Carbon Fiber wrap shelves!!! the hobby room also has its own restroom with shower toilet and sink so I can build all day and night and never bother her, Yoli promised me a Hobby Room when we looked for a house and now its a reality, she was instrumental in designing and putting together. Now on to some serious Building!!! Chris

Teach the pizza guy to deliver to the garage door and you might never have to leave the room

Wow, Thank You Chris. Sure a lot of Left turn only kits there for a Road Racing guy! Is the McLaren 1b one of the Mini Exotics Kits? And Who did the Porsche 904 in Resin? I knew 'bout the 2 different Monogram Kits - Curbside and Full detail, but not Resin. But all in all there's an interesting selection there.

The 904 is a full Hi-Detail Monogram build not resin. I ran into a problem just inched from the finish and havent figured it out ...yet. The McLaren is a Resilient Resins slot car body that Patrick gave me. Not everything on shelf 2 was resin, I should have mentioned that. Since my Dad work with Dan Gurney at AAR, I hung out there as a kid while my Dad built Offy engines for AAR and Gurney, Grant and Swede all raced slot cars at Santa Ana Raceway, My Dad's store, Dan has been a long time family friend as long as I can remember, so I have many Eagles and a bunch of other Indy cars too, I guess. indycarmodeling.proboards.com/ is our sister site and owned by me also... lots of great building going on there and lot of tips, techniques and other stuff works on any model.. Chris Ps. I had done a WIP on the 904 here race-car-models.proboards.com/thread/427/1963-porsche-904-gts

I went to Lowes at they were priced at $119.95 and the to Home Depot where the red ones were $99.95 , took pics of those went back to Lowes and had them price match them and they take off an additional 10% so I picked up the black & silver ones I really wanted for $89.95... sometimes Ya just Gotta Work the System!!! Very well done and confidence building surely. I have to tuck matters aside given my place is less than 700 square feet total, hence I have to go into 'IKEA mode' to have at alternate times a study, a sitting area, a workshop, etc. Mostly I've divided up tools and such into low profile plastic bins which can be slid out of site post haste when requirements call for this. As a project, I'll try to photograph my particular pad of sorts to convey other options consistent with what is nicely depicted here. Kind regards...
