For all you snappy Chappy fans (I'm one) out there have you seen this injection molded body by Tamiya?? It looks good. I'm going to use the MRRN article to make the chassis and detail the parts. Don't get it off Evilbay!

Body looks good. HRM offers some nice Chaparral wheels/tires.

The wheel/tire combo look good for a 2D, but not for a 2J Can Am car...lower profile and wide meats needed! Treads? or Slicks??? Patrick

I don't know if the Profile changed much but the 2J's tires were ~17" or so wide with Treads ( ). The Bolts would need to be removed because Chaparral had gone to fixed width Rims a few seasone prior to the J. Now Patric if you'd like to run the unneeded Cox Sponsor Decals 'Ol Professor Motor just happens to have a Chaparral 2 White Car series sheet that has 2 sets of 'em! . Good Luck on your Build.

the ct a way shows a semi-treaded tire large diameter Firestones THe Model Factory Hiro #906 70's prototype tire set looked the best to me.. what do you guys think? I would use the Chaparral front wheels and find a spoked wheel to fit the rear... my 1.5 cents...... Chris

However I wish they had a square shoulder and where flat across the tread area. They are bit too rounded to my eye.

Patrick I may have an extra set of M8B AM tires, Gotta look at em though because they should be Goodyers.. Chris Ps. I would chuck those MFH tires up and take most of the tread off could make em a bit squarer too..
