I like em, but 4 lug? maybe change that to center lock nut? Chris 4-lug is correct.

or Depends on the version. Most will tell you V-8 cars would nave 5 lugs later cars would have center bolt, 4 lug proved to be a problem as HP and Torque tend to spin the wheels right off the car.. just saying. Chris note first pic has both .....

No argument that additional lugs and/or center locks with drive pins are better. The cars had a surprising long life cycle for racing, more than 10 years. And as such development was ongoing. The later Phase 4 and Phase 5 cars were the most advanced with the cow catcher front air dams, large rear wings and the center lock hubs. I am trying the replicate an earlier Phase 3 car from the '75-'76 time period. From what I have seen they were primarily 4-lug. Thanks for your interest Chris. JC

I bought a 78 305cid Monza Coupe, when they came out. it was fast and basically a car they should have thought about a bit more before selling it , broke the exhaust manifolds 3 times, overheating boiled the fuel out of the system many times, electric fuel pump failed twice, after about nine months , three that the car actually not in the shop, I drove it back to the dealer, parked it at the front door and walked off!! Never saw it again... Loved the racing cars but not so much the street cars!! Chris

I friend of mine had one in high school. It was pretty fast. I've attached the side spoilers on the rear fenders. Still shaping the hood scope so it's not attached. This should be the final stance.

I am going to use a Revell Super Spyder version for my eventual Monza build, mostly because I like the Cow Catcher front spoiler that comes in the kit vs. the Air Dam like yours... here is a link to my Dekon Monza folder... public.fotki.com/pmodwrks/dekon-monza/ Please feel free to browse all my Fotki for reference on many cars.. I started it with the idea of sharing them with everybody.. so help yourself.. Chris

Chris Chris my first New Car was a '77 Sunbird with a 231 that never needed to go back to the Dealer 'cept for the then manditory Dealer Services for Warranty reasons. The Front Wheel Toe in did need to be adjusted from Factory Spec which was fine as all it did prior to adjusting was trash a pair of Firestone 500's. I put >32K miles on it in the year I had it. The guy I shared a house with totaled it

Fabricated the upper fire wall, fabricated/modified the radiator shroud, added disc brakes. Fabricated the front clip (nose/fenders) support. Added some kicker bars to reinforce the front suspension points. Added hood supports to inner fenders/cowl.
