Great build! I don't know anything about this car but it's great to watch the build.

And 14 inch? I've been looking at Tokyo Hobby's products last night, and saw LOTS of wheel/tire sets that were labeled 14". I've bought some stuff from them before and been happy. The wheels and tires you show are definitely NOT 14". More like 16 fronts and 19 rears. A friend of mine worked at Roy Woods Racing when they were racing a Dekon Monza. But that was 40 years ago. BTW, The Revell Camaro kits have the same Roush chassis, wheels and tires and even most of the same Ford engine parts as the Mustang kits. Why not use the BBS wheels and tires that came with the chassis? Edit: Hmmm...I see this thread is several years old. And I've posted in it a few times. But my question still stands, why not use the kit BBS wheels.? But then, if you're going for 4-lug, I suppose the centerlock wheels that came with the chassis are not right. So I suppose that's it.

Projects not dead just resting peacefully on the shelf - for now.

A build photo I pulled from the internet to show the Revell IMSA kit wheels are not correct for the Dekon Monza.

Man is this a help! I made an IMSA Monza back in the 90's from the AMT kit. I used many stock parts back then! It no longer exists! Now this...hmmmm. I just bought a glue bomb Monza and could use your ideas. Yee haw! Patrick PS maybe I missed it but why use the MPC body?

I think the MPC body is more accurate Patrick, especially the side window shape. If you have the chance compare it to the AMT and see what you think. I like the AMT IMSA fenders better however so I had to do it the hard way.

oohh man this is savage!!
I picked up a few Monzas over the years in the hope of maybe trying to convert one to a Manta . Then Belkits came to the rescue.
Loving this and as I said before the crisp build style JC.
