It was a really good show with a large turnout of models. kudos to Art for pulling it off. It must have been a lot of work because he sure looked busy. Not a lot of road racing models on display, but there was a highly detailed 1/12 1974 McLaren that really stood out. I didn't take any photos, but maybe someone else did and will share them.

I talked to the guys in the WRA booth for quite a while. They are putting on shows at Irwindale. I've never been to Irwindale and I thought it had shut down, but I may check out one of the WRA shows.

I talked to them for a while too. Met Dave Sweeney, who has a long history in racing, so it was fun talking to him.
Rob, did you get one of the free passes they were giving out? Maybe we can head up there that night. I think the free pass was good for 8/19 when those guys are there.

Art, yes I did get a free pass for the Aug. 19th event. Lets plan on going. August is looking to be a good month; the Carlsbad NNL show on the 12th, Irwindale on the 19th, and the PAS Hall of Fame show on the 26th. Woo Hoo!
