Are the green parts from the Monogram kit? If so, how much did you have to alter the hood to get it to fit?

Yea Rob the green parts are from the Monogram kit. I had to narrow the hood and reshape the leading edge to fit the Revell body.

So are you planning to build it as a stock AAR Cuda? As in the showroom - street - sold to the public version? Or are you building an AAR team Dan Gurney or Swede Savage Trans Am race car? If you're building the race car, the tri-power and air cleaner are way wrong. It would have a single 4bbl with a bottom seal around a 14" chrome air cleaner. This picture is of the engine in the restored and currently vintage raced #1 AAR race car. But I consider it to be pretty accurate to what the race car was like in the day.

I plan on building the race car but while I was tinkering I thought I would see what I could do with the stock/street parts.

Although not correct a six pack would be cool too. It sucks the Cross Boss intakes were not allowed on the Mustangs. I would call them Bosses but they did not start out a true Bosses from the factory.

The Cross Boss was a very cool. Ford tried hard to get it homologated for Trans-Am but the SCCA wouldn't buy that it was a production item (which it wasn't).
