Randy,
To say this is an inspiration is an understatement. Really loving it! Looking forward to all your updates. I am taking my first steps in soldering in over a decade by trying to do a simple roll cage. What equipment would you recommend for soldering brass rod? I had a very good Weller soldering station but it died after 20+ years in electronics service.
Thanks, Ismael

Bravo!!! I can see how much fun you're having!!...no wait! This here guy sure ain't no, "Junior member"!!! Patrick I tried to adjust Randy's Status but it is based on # of posts, It is quite obvious he should be at the very top of builders.

Randy, what is your sources for scale hardware, I use a lot of R B Motion, Tuner Factory, and Top Studio. My biggest problem with a lot of manufacturers is Price vs. Quanity ie: 8 AN fittings for $10. is just wrong.. LMK I like some of the stuff you are using.. Chris

"New Member" rank now applies until you have reached 100 posts then you become a "Full Member"

I see a man building a functioning replica of a race car small enough to stuff down the front of his shirt. Can’t wait ‘til he gets to the engine.

I got to hold this in my hands recently and it's even more amazing in person.

Randy, Every update picture is just beyond description. What you're creating is a masterpiece, not a replica. Are your plans for the Engine to be fabricated out of metal too?

Well I'm real excited to see my old friend Randy on this forum. A truly and absolute exceptional modeler.
I hope all is well, as it's been a while since he attended this post.
Hey....maybe Randy is recovering from sore and slightly burnt fingertips. Been there and done that more times than I can count.

Chris Attention: Guys, if you're looking for reasonably priced nuts and bolts brass hardware along with many brass, copper and Alpaka profiles, just answer here I have a shop for you. The guy is in Germany, small husband and wife deal, and he ships cheaply internationally. I buy all of my brass hardware there, you can't beat the price and quality, anywhere.
Please excuse, I'm new here, and not sure about posting shop web links. Send a PM my way, maybe better.
Mick..
PS: Randy hasn't posted in a while, I just read the boss queried a source, hence this reply. Sorry for the off topic post.

Mick, please post the link and info in the "Aftermarket Suppliers" Section. I for one would welcome a good source for scale hardware.
