Working on the 68 Lotus 49 b and I am wanting to give the windshield a Yellow tint, I normally spray my windshield with the new Testors Ultra Gloss Clear lacquer, it hides small scratches, gives slight blue or UV tint and makes the glass very smooth.. so I am thinking I will dip the glass in yellow food color and then use the Clear?? Ant other Suggestions??? Chris

You could mix Tamiya clear yellow with acrylic gloss medium. From that picture, it wouldn't take very much yellow.

I've added food color to Future with success. I have had better luck dipping windows/windshields/canopies in Future than trying to spray any of the tinted clears on anything larger than a taillight lense. Future is self leveling and a little more forgiving than paint.
