Great job on those seatbelts and shoulder harnesses. I truly suck at making them in 1/20 or 1/24 scale. The brake assemblies look dead on perfect. My only question is the the front disks look like they're polished Aluminum while the smaller rears seem to have an anodized color to them. Or is that just the lighting fooling my eyes? joel Joel, all four discs and carriers are identical. Maybe because you're looking at the rears from the edge.

Looking good buddy, your making great progress, I almost thought I was building it🤣🤣🤣 Thanks buddy. For some reason the force is strong on this build. I finally got the p/e clamps to behave. The rear suspension is done. As is the front. 972

Wow!! The completed engine/trans/suspension, and the front suspension really came out great. But what really caught my eye was the simple dash. Boy does that look realistic.

I'm back on this after being distracted for a week by my other hobby. MFH gives you w/m spacers to place under the center of the car to hold the weight of the car from sagging the suspension. Since both front and rear are done, I temporarily fitted the front and back together. Then I put the wheels on and checked the height of the spacers. Looks like the front will need a bit of height reduction. Then I moved the chassis over to the edge of the mat and got some dimensions so that I can order my case for it. Since the model is about 14.5 x 7.5, I think I'll order one that is 16" x 9" x 6". Of course I had to put the body on for inspiration and a photo op. 1119

Wow does it look spectacular with and without the body. My only suggestion out of the entire build is to replace those metal spacers with custom acrylic ones so they would be way less visible to the viewer

A interesting fact on the FW 07, in 1981 it was copied by Longhorn racing and entered in the 1981 Indy 500 as a LR_01 driven by Al Unser. It finished 34 laps down in 17th place. In the book SPEED, there is a photo of the Williams Blueprint in the Longhorn Garage. Some say it was a reconditioned and converted FW-07 but from what I have read it was a full on copy built by Longhorn.. I had more info on it but lost most when my PC crashed a while back. I thought abought building a LR-01 out of a 1/20 Tamiya FW-07 . Now that people are 3D printing Turbos and other parts it would be easier now. Chris
