Yeah but at least Paul has moved on from spoked wheels! And you need to finish a GT40 π Canβt right now! Too cold to paint! So at least I can start on drilling, washing, and clean up!

I see a lot of drilling in your future ππ Yes. lots of drilling, then trial fitting, then adjusting, then trial fitting some more. After getting the resin parts out of the Polident bath, I couldn't resist mocking up the bodywork. Then I mocked up some of the chassis parts. I spent most of today sending parts through the magnetic polisher. When assembled, the side skirts will actually be able to move. 103

Will be following your build closely and taking plenty of notes as I have the old Tamiya 1/20 scale kit in my stash.

But it will be sold off to offset the cost of this kit. I spent a good four hours drilling holes. Then I did some assembling. Engine in pieces....then assembled. Transmission pieces. Then a mock-up 131

Paul, Excellent job on drilling out those holes. The dry fitting of the engine/transaxle looks great.
All your Dark Side guys much buy your drill bits by the dozen.

Actually, since I started getting quality drills from an industrial supply store, I don't go through them very quickly. After spending another couple of hours drilling holes, I decided to assemble the exhaust. What a PITA. 12 pieces per side. 189

I agree with Chris... those little couplers on the exhausts are very well done! Well into this one I see!

Paul, The engine mockup looks great especially the exhaust. 12 pcs per side just might be a new record.
