Adrian, She's a beauty for sure. I just new that you'd have her in top notch showroom condition. Absolutely love the McLaren Papaya color. Please post one more picture with the Duel Black racing stripes. I've neglected my Coupe over the winter months, as I just can't deal with the cold weather these days. BTW, looks like I made a type on the Coupe. She's got 15 inch Aluminum wheels, not the standard 14 inch ones. As for the low profile tires, great handling, but just can't handle pot holes. So far this winter I've blown two tires @ $250 each and damaged one wheel. The town passed a law which says that as long as they're filling and repairing pot holes, they're not responsible for any issues caused by them. Needles to say come the next election I'm not voting for anyone who voted yes on this issue. Joel Joel, you haven't seen potholes till you come up here. I drive a Chev Silverado 4x4 and it can't handle them. Next winter I'm thinking of getting a WW2 German Army half-track, that might work. Adrian, Good thinking. I just might get one myself. And here I thought that LI and NYC were the Pot hole capital of the World. Joel

Those Minis are as much of a hoot to drive as the originals! If I still needed a back seat for kids, I'd probably be driving one, now.

Literally they are not potholes here ... they are sink holes. This city has the worst infrastructure of any city in the world ...hands down.. it's not even close, and for a Capital City it's pathetic.

Apparently the crew chiefs have asked NASCAR for a clarification of the new single lug nut design. They want to know if NASCAR is going to specify which lug nut must be used, or can they just pick any one of the five.

Any particular reason why you have the right rear on the right front?

Mike_t, Now that's one very impressive Wheel. Is that from an AM wheel set like the one that Adrian uses?
I'm sure that the larger 18 inch wheel and lug nut will look just as good taken to this level.

But I will agree, it is one darn fine looking wheel!

Mike_t, Thanks for the correction. See what happens when you get to be your 70's, you get easily confused by even simple stuff. Joel

It IS a beautiful looking wheel/tire, but I have to nit-pick and point out that the rotation arrow is pointing in the wrong direction for a right side tire!

Not being a wise ass, but the tire is marked RR for right rear, but the arrow is for a left side tire rotation.

Working on a model at 3:00AM is not unusual for me. That's why I do most of my work on weekends. An hour or two throughout the week just doesn't do it for me. There have been occasions when I've sat at the bench from 7 in the evening until 3 or 4 in the morning, sleep for a few hours then back at it at 9AM. Talk about a modelling fool!
