Well you guys have certainly given me some food for thought ... maybe I should consider trying to make the Tamiya Lola kit fit the Eagle. It's tamiya and the suspension parts for the most part are very similar - but I'd have to buy the Tamiya Lola and in spect it before I would know if it's doable.
Having said that I've never been on e to she away from a challenge Tamiya Lola kits are expensive, and they're 1/20th scale.
I've been trying to find a deal on one for years. Damn that's right! I totally forgot they were 1/20th scale ... of course they are they are Tamiya. Oh well that solves the problem.

Looking good! I have to dig out my resin 2005 Indy car project that has been stalled for over a decade now.

Thanks JC.. I'm actually doing something I rarely do which is work on 3 models at the same time. I'm almost finished my first 1/43rd Nascar which I should be revealing later next week, as well as waiting on some ZERO Flourescent colours to come from Spot Model for the Byron Camaro. I have the time now and got into a modeling groove after being Furloughed.

Looking great Adrian.. what did you do to your tires in the above pic and what is that on the seat? Thanks mate I source my Nascar tires from a place called Nitro Hobbies online - they are the only place I can find real rubber tires that are the actual thickness of the real nascar tires. Problem is that they have a white racing logo on each one so I have to hit it with some Tamiya Rubber Black through my airbrush one low setting just to cover the lettering. I then hit them with some flat clear and let it set for a few days before I will add the Goodyear logos from a stencil - airbrushed on.
The seat shows a little dark in the picture but it's actually a light tan Suede Leather - real Leather that I wrap the plastic seat in - very tricky procedure using spray glue and a lot of patience

"very tricky procedure using spray glue and a lot of patience" Lookin' good, Adrian. When I applied the leather to my 641/2 seat (for the second time ), I used contact cement. Little bits at a time, so I wouldn't have to deal with air bubbles in all those curves. Takes a little longer but, as you said, patience!

I love the light Tan colour! Very Impressive.
