JC, I'd say you made the right decision on the wheels. They do look the part.

Thanks Joel. And here is the first mockup with the chosen wheels. Needs a little tweaking but a good starting point.

Glad you guys like the wheels and the build. Got the tail down and it sits level now - more better!

JC, I missed that in the 1st pc. But I just looked again and I can see the slight difference. But you solved that issue perfectly.

I had to go back and look twice too, but yes, it is better. It's just a cool little car. I want one, lol.
It reminds me of a friend's Datsun 510. It was all tricked out and it was ferocious!

JC, Nicely done. Those suspension location cups look simple, but I'm sure that they will solve a major issue when the time comes for the installation.

The struts are a sloppy fit as they come from the kit Joel, I can't accept that. I need parts to fit right and their position must be consistent and repeatable for my fanatical test fitting.

JC, From all your builds I've seen here, one of your constants is your high standards for parts and their correct repeatable fit.

Thanks Joel - I work at it anyway! Added adjustment nut detail to the top of the struts and axle nut detail to the front hub.

- I was fully expecting to need to scratch-build the roll cage but to my surprise the kit cage fits nicely.
- My technique of using liquefied styrene as weld for joints is more obvious on the black plastic.
- Made cups to accept the feet and more securely attach the cage.
- Filled the roll cage mounting pin holes in the chassis as they would not be present on the 1:1
