My week off is over and I am back to work. I am one of the lucky ones. I also have been very much about social distancing. My wife won't let me got to town. I trust her but also fear for her. She is heeled, so no one should be giving her shit. My week off gave me a lot of time for distraction. Here is what I got accomplished... I did have one screw up but the directions instep 4 aren't really clear about part F17. I missed it by 45 degrees. Oh well, I can scratch build a pipe to fit. Will do some clean up and touch-up next time around! Remember, wash your hands and practice social distancing! Your comments are ALWAYS welcome.

Mac's Models and Mega Hobby had what I needed. I will now have 6 sets of seat belts so if you are in need, please let me know. You all have done enough favors for me, I'd like to return the favor. I can spare a couple. Four will be MFH, two will Scale Motorsports.

Oh my, the MFH seat belt sets are SOOOOO much better than the Scale Motorsports... and they are about the same price. I'll try to get you photos this coming week.
I was able to do a bit more on the front suspension on Sunday. It is supposed to be rainy for the next several days. That will put off any outdoor chores for a bit... so maybe a few more days of building. I should get the front end finished.
Pics to come...

Pics to come... Chop chop slacker🤣🤣🤣 The pace your going you’ll be building a M23 next month Guess what? Last day of work and we have rain in the forecast so no outside chores for a couple of days! My plan is to finish front suspension, build basic engine, maybe fiddle with instrument cluster, and sand up and paint the air box. Ideally, I would love to get the decals on it.

Always nice to have extra bench time. Always. Good progress on this.
On a side note. Glad to hear that your wife is ok. It's ashame that folks behave like they do even after a person has recovered from this stuff but that's the way it goes I guess.

She is home recovering from bilateral hip surgery and awaiting a hernia repair. She is taking all the risks, going shopping etc. She is basically putting me on lockdown. And I am going along with it because I am our primary source of income right now. But thanks for thinking of her!

My bad on misunderstanding. It's still good to hear that she made it out of the hospital with no other complications. Hospital's a bad place to be right now.... but then again.....so is the grocery store. lol

Hospital's a bad place to be right now.... but then again.....so is the grocery store. lol Thanks again. Her last surgery was in September and they postponed the hernia operation which sucks because she really wants to go back to work (her disability is about to run out along with AFLAC) and she misses her patients (she's a Paramedic as well!) But she is getting plenty of Zelda Breath of the Wild time... and has ventured out to the shop once in a great while...

A little progress... seat belt assembly is around 2 hours total... but they do look pretty nice! It's been very cold and snowy today which does not promote curing of glue. Little steps...

Next question... are the wheels chrome except for the gold cemetery on the front? Most photos, they appear to be chrome..
Advice?
