My Indy Cal order according to USPS tracking had the package arriving yesterday. It's still not here, but at least it's now listed as out for delivery.
Gravity paint order is still listed as being at the Madrid airport waiting for a DHL jet. Been there since last Friday.

Just an FYI, I ordered from SpotModel Aug 15th, received it today. Call it 3 weeks, so Spain to Canada is back to what it was before.

Just an FYI, I ordered from SpotModel Aug 15th, received it today. Call it 3 weeks, so Spain to Canada is back to what it was before. I ordered from SpotModel on July 27. It left Spain on on July 29. Still have not received it in Texas. Haven't received the final issue of Scale Auto magazine either, although many others have. Hope the two items I've ordered from eBay sellers in the US get to me before Christmas. They can certainly deliver every piece of junk mail I don't want, but the stuff I've paid for and want gets sent to the back of the line. Mike

Paul, That's great to here.
I've ordered two separate shipments from Indy Cal, one from a member here that also lives in NYS, and paint from Gravity of Spain. the Gravity shipment usually is a 3 day DHL affair but this time took a full week, which isn't an issue for me. What surprised me is that the other 3 shipments were all USPS priority mail, with one smallish box, one mailer and one 1st class envelope. All were received within 4 days of their actual shipping, not counting the day that the label was created.
Honestly, I was simply amazed! what I'm finding now is that supplies from Japan and China to US online retailers like Sprue Brother and ScaleHobbyist.com have more out of stocks then I've ever seen before. Sprue Brothers even posted that their shipments are all taking much longer then usual, and it seems to be getting worse.

It is my understanding that all postal shipments from Asia are coming via boat, if at all. I doubt retailors will pay courier service prices for overseas deliveries.

I ordered some 1/12th switches from down under about two weeks ago.
They cleared customs two days ago and are scheduled for delivery in the next two days. DHL is the shipper used by BNA.
I think that will work/.

Mike, Glad that you got your order within the current year. the issue is with how the USPS routes it's international packages. Makes no sense.
BTW, all of your posts are showing up as hidden. Is that something you did, or did I hit something that's causing it? All the other list posts are fine.

Not to keep this thread alive forever, but it appears some mail is getting through in proper time in the US. Today I received packages from Spruebrothers (7 days) and Dragon-Hobby, (an eBay seller - 5 days).
