Paul, Don't sell yourself short. You're doing on heck of a job making a ancient UPC kit into way more then it was ever intended to be. joel Yeah. I'm also a sucker for stray kittens and abandoned puppies.

I haven't taken too many progress pics - it was just more of the same try something, throw it out and try something else. Anyway, I have a finished chassis.

The tub, rad, seat, some of the suspension and a little bit of the engine are kit parts. Everything else is from the parts box or scratch built.

WOW! That is very nicely done! Thank you Patrick. It looks better than it is, lots of mistakes, hopefully cleverly disguised .

There are no decals for this car, so I'm modifying an Indycal's Lotus 49 set, I think it'll work. So far just the engine cover, but it does fit over everything so that's a plus.

I'll finish off the top body shell but then it get's shelved. The kit tires are useless, there's nothing aftermarket I can find. Working on making my own, but as yet I have some failed experiments but no viable answers. Resin is causing me a lot of problems.
This whole endeavor has caused a re-think on how to build the Ferrari. It may get more of an "enhanced curbside" treatment, mainly because I don't have quite the same parts supply or good enough detail photos to work from. Or any tires for that matter, lol (see above!).
Now to try something simple, like finish off an IMC kit.

Paul, I haven't been around much do to medical issues for both myself and my wife.
I'm really impressed with your Lotus 33. I'd say it's one stellar semi scratch build for sure.

My advice - if anyone wants a 33 in their collection, buy the Ebbro.

Yeah, I've been working on the IMC for over a year - like I said, maybe "finish" it?
I have a Monogram kit that says "skill level 2" on the box, might be more appropriate the way I'm going lately.
But thanks for the kind words everybody.

Hi, Beautiful! You really reach a great result with this kit: BRAVO! I bought earlier this year the 33 from Ebbro, but it looks like it will need a lot of work too!… Well done! Pascal
